From the minimal amount of experience I have had (and friends) on each, the tower does help a lot. _________________ n00b searching out answers to get started. |

| No, the tower does not help unless you are attempting tricks such as 900's (or any trick with the same difficulty), because until then you will not be maxing out the rope, gurantee it. You have to be getting at least 6+ feet of air before you start to max out the rope, so do not worry about it. HOWEVER, I reccomend a tower because it lets people sit in the back seat, jump off of it, hold speakers, board racks, mirrors, etc..... |

| well the tower pulls you up rather than straight. it will also pop you out of the water much faster. so when your getting air your getting pulled up with all the tension instead of down. just my .02 |

in my opinion a tower is a great way to better your riding experience but it probobly is only necessary beyond tricks like 360s, backrolls, and tantrums. once you have those three on lock toeside heelside and switch variations you should consider a tower.
unless you got the $$, then by all means... |

| towers really help alot for me. its nice to have the tension going up than down, it also helps your pop if the rope pulls you up and rather than just forward. this is just based on my experience so some of the vets out there feel free to correct me if im wrong |
