disturbing the peace

to anyone with those big crazy tower speaker systems on your boat:

do you ever get complaints, tickets, bad looks, etc for disturbing the peace on your lake, especially if it is crowded? i just bought that deafcon IV system and i am thinking that people will get mad or cmplain if i crank it really loud. any input or experiences?

Nobody seems to complain about all of the noise from the speedboats, or the smoke from the outboards. Just watch the language in the music when there are alot of families around and nobody will bother with you. Now when you are rippin away from everybody crank it up and Go Big!!!!!!!!!!!1

i have tower speakers and i only have them cranked up when we are riding so the rider can here them.

i had mine up. Some hot chicks went by us, they started stripin to the song "its getting hot in here" pretty sweet. Cool

most people wont complain unless there is excessive profanity.

I just saw a notice at Don Pedro for this, the notice said they will be citing for 415, I looked this up, and it is actually a Misdemeanor..I agree tho, no foul language, and I cant see any issue..There are still boats out there, that are much louder than most radios
