I guess that depends on what your goals are. Learning a switch backroll doesn't mean much to me. I don't compete in contests..
I'd work on the rest of the basics first then keep moving up. HS 180s, half cabs, 360s, tantrum, scarecrow.. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

what i tell people is "the better switch rider you are, the better wakeboarder you will become"
whether you are competing or not (I am INT LEAGUE) u want to be good. and you can not really be GOOD good unless u rape switch. hope this helped. |

| i am a fan of learning things switch. but you could try some good toeside moves (crow, ts backroll). once you get really good at riding switch, learning things switch becomes very easy. i can actually get more air with hs switch than any other position. |

| hey, riding switch will help u sooo much with comps and everything. if you can ride switch easily, you are able to land huge inverts like whirly 5's. focus on riding switch and u will be a much sicker rider. |

I'm thinking if you're going for whirly 5's, landing switch probably shouldn't be much of a problem. Just a guess though...
I do agree that learning stuff switch will make you a better rider overall. |

I agree with every1 who said learning to ride switch makees you a better rider. It helps your tricks where you land switch, and it gives you more control in general. I respect anybody who can do switch ts w2w. Pluss, in a competition, if you ride competitions, you can get so much more points if you do a trick switch and regular. Trust me. _________________ www.munsonski.com

My lady was working on her hs 180's a couple of weeks ago. She was sliding out on her heels on the landing. She goes out for her run, turns switch, and nails her first three attempts at a ts switch w2w.
I keep telling her that there are many people out there who cannot do switch ts w2w, and she keeps telling me it is no big deal. |
