Shorten the rope some, speed up to 23/24, cut harder. You will be over the wake easily. Also, it wouldn't hurt to use punctuation. It's hard to know when your sentances end. Reads very monotone. But you'll be over the wake in no time, then let the rope back out some when you make it. One thing I have found out. It's really not much more effort to make it one loop further out. But with a shorter rope, the wake will be that much easier to get over, you'll be stoked, landing smooth, and diggin life.

Edge out as far as you can get. When comin in bend your knees really low. Just hit that wake wit alot of speed and you will be over.

yeah no kidding.. dude u ever heard of punctuation?

for the help, either speed up more or shorter rope. I personally would go shorter rope just because the faster you go, the more painful the landings. What length are you riding at?

leggomyeggo, you need to:

1. GROW UP.. if ur really 15 act like it. my 8 year old brother is more mature than you. dear god do we really have people like you on the road!?!?!?!??!??!?!?
2. actually TALK ABOUT WAKEBOARDING if ur gonna stay here
3. eat something besides frozen waffles.
4. get off these forums... u obviously know NOTHING about wakeboarding, I've read ur posts and they all are offf topic fart jokes, except a level or two down in maturity.
5. go... I dont care where.. just go elsewhere... Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

thekpan, I wouldn't worry about your problem so much. It's more of a problem if you're getting distance but not height. Just shorten that rope up a little bit.

speed the boat up a little and you will make it easy. also if you wanna be core just come in at the wake as hard as possible.

I have the same problem.I can edge out till im damn near in front of the boat or 10ft from the wake but no matter what I always land on the second wake.I get 5-6ft height easy.Landing on the other wake makes it hard to land any trick and gets really fustrating some times.I dont know what to do but im going to keep trying.I wish I could shorten the rope a little more but Ive already takin all the extentions out.Ive also tried adjusting my speed and that didnt help either. If you figure something out let me know!

lofosho_97, i doubt you can get 6 feet of vertical air if you can't go w2w.

Sometimes I wish I could get 6 feet of air but no distance....

I've seen some riders that had some serious control where they could go either straight up and down the other wake. Or up and way out into the flats. With what looked like the same exact cut. Like 8 or 9 feet in the air. Pretty sweet.

But thekpan, more speed should help you make it across. Try cutting a little wider. Do the progressive edge thing where you're edging harder and harder as you near the wake. With 6 feet of air, you should have no problem clearing the wake.

I retract my 24 mph statement. I say just go faster on the board.
