| definitely fs. but between ts/hs, that's kind of a toss-up. i learned hs first but some say ts is easier. if your ts is good then i'd say go with that. if not, go with hs. |

dont do bs yet. learn fs first. this might help:
don't edge at it quite so hard. more line tension just makes it harder to pass the handle. edge just hard enough to make it w2w. and hold the handle a lot closer to your body. you should be doing this anyway, but try to exaggerate it. |

| When you spin don't look down, watch the scenery around you, and wait tell your in the air before initiating your spin |

macdaddy07, I assume you are asking about the TS FS 3?
Just look at the wake behind you as you spin and when you reach for the handle pass keep looking at the wake. If you look back at the boat or turn your shoulder open just a little too much you will wash out every time.
I POP, PULL handle square to hips with both hands, then I reach for the handle pass at the small of my back, when I do this I look at the wake behind me and try to never take my eyes off it. I'm literally looking right down at my board landing on the wake, this helps you stay over your toes also.
For this reason some people learn the TS FS 540 first and then kill themselves to figure out the simple TS FS 3.
IMO work on the 3 first, you will develop better board control and proper habits. _________________ PEACE

To be able to get the handle pass down perfect, get an old ski rope, tie 20lbs of weight at the end and just sit in your yard and spin it around and pass the handle behind your back. Ive been doing that lately and it has made the handle pass soooo much easier. When i first started attempting 3's last week i never had a problem rotating, just landing. I finally stuck my first one last thursday, and stuck 4 out of 10 yesterday. My only problem is the landing, i rotate perfect everytime, just end up sliding out when i land. These are switch HS FS 3's, i ride goofy also. _________________ http://www.myspace.com/wannabess

| i don't know why but it seems like hs bs 360 are more natural for me to spin. im still haven't landed hs bs or fs but i just feel natural going bs. I'm going to try some more this weekend, i'll see what happens. |

when I miss it, I either miss the handle and come down a full 360 empty handed or UNDER rotate a 270 and get killed.?? teach me how to overrotate, man... haha. |

i started tring hs fs 3's but only stuck like 2 out of 10, i had hs bs 180s nailed so i tried a hs bs 360, landed it first try and i get it 3 out of 4 now, when learning 360s fs or bs it helped me to sort of break the trick down into two seperate 180s just to be able to visualize the spin it helped me alot, i also do what wannabess said with the old rope and milk carton at the end that helps loads _________________ i dont like people playin on my phone...i keeps it real |

I started w/ the milk jug filled w/ water, just seemed too easy to spin and seemed harder on the water. Thats the reason why i put two 10lb plates at the end. I now have a 25lb plate on, it builds up your shoulder, back, and forearm muscles soooo much. When im on the water it makes the handle pass feel like nothing. _________________ http://www.myspace.com/wannabess
