whirlynuke02,
I suck so dont take my word.
I have one, I have only been on it one time. And it was crappy conditions. Ibought it for the foam top, its good for people who want to try the skate and dont have shoes for grip.
I think for 200 hunge for a composite is right on. I would buy it and if you dont like I am sure you can sell it.
What are you riding on now?
My favorite skate is the Integrity. _________________ www.integrity-wake.com |

right now im riding on my friends impulse 41, and i can get the impala for 135$ and i dont have very much cashmoney so i think im gonna do that.
the only thing is im not a big fan of foam- can you take the foam off the impala without screwing it up?
even though youve only been on it in crappy conditions did it still ride simlar to a wood skate and how does the weight feel.
thanks. |

whirlynuke02,
For 135 grab it. As far as taking off the foam, that should not be a problem, maybe. I can ask a few peeps who might know. Again, I got with the notion newbs will use that for the first attempt since most people dont wear size 12.
I just switched from a wood to composite. I like it much better. It is also a larger board than the one I had before which was too small for me. The weight felt really good.
I hope to ride it this weekend and so far I am pleased with the purchase. I am lucky enough to be able to buy a few boards this summer. Hell buy it this year if cash is tight and save up next year for the deck you really want. _________________ www.integrity-wake.com |

yeah ive taken foam off before- i was just wondering about it because the foam on the impala looks kinda funky.
if i dig the way it rides ill keep it, if not i could actually make some money if i wanted to sell it.
the board looks like its sick either way |

whirlynuke02,
the foam is kinda funky, I would be shocked if it didnt. might be some worked involved but i am sure you could get it off.
and i am sure you will sell it to if you dont like it. _________________ www.integrity-wake.com |

alright, so i got the skate the other day and i cant really say anything bad about it, other than the fact that i dnot like foam tops.
other than that, its pretty much the perfect composite board. the best part about it was the fact that i didnt notice much of a difference between it and my friends wood impulse that ive been riding, which is actually really good. the tracking of the board is great because of the shape and little channels, it weighs the same and rides the same as a wood board, and it has way more concave than any board ive ridden. basically, its like a wood concave that tracks better without fins and pops real high. also, because of the wideness and the big kicktail, you never have to worry about your foot slipping off.
this board will be fvcking ill once i tape it |
