Ankle support on 06 Murray bindings???

I just picked a pair of these up, and now that they're getting broken in, I love em. However, I took a weird fall on a 360 attempt and now my ankle is all messed up. In my 3 years of boarding prior to this, I've never hurt my ankle. I've always rocked the Highback bindings, but went with the Murrays this year.

So I'm wondering if these bindings just don't offer an adequate amount of ankle support. I noticed that Harf switched to the 3DSs, and Murray is riding his 05s. I wonder if the 06 Murrays just don't have enough support??? It's in my head now that I don't have that ankle support, so I'm tentative out there. That sucks.

Let me know other people's opinions. Oh, and I posted this same thing on Wakeworld.

sadcaper, Toe strap + boa + heel strap = Lots of ankle support. I have weak ankles and I bought the Temet (Murray) because of the support they give.

If you bought the Temets, then I assume you bought the 05s? I heard those have better ankle support than the new 06s. Just what I heard.

i have the new 06 3ds, and even though they already broke, the ankle support was incredible, ive only worn highback series because of a bad right ankle

I have the 06 Murrays and my friend has the 05s. I've ridden both and the 05s have more support because of the of the way the Boa is setup. In the 06s the boa system runs through the option 2 strap making it less effiencent in my opinion. That being said I think the 06s have really good ankle support compair to a lot of other bindings i've rode.
