| i've had my hyperlite scape 112 for about a month now, but only gotten in 2 or 3 good runs in with it. I realized the bottom started to crack. The boards not split in two or anything, but it looks like it could get bigger. im not really doing anything to stressfull to the board, just carving and surface spins. anyone else expierence this/have a solution? |

yes,
take it back, and buy a composite imo.
not too many wood boats still around.
the composite will run over 2 bills, but you will never buy another board again.
my first skate was wood and did the same thing, sent it back and the next one did it to. we both tried to save some cash, your next step is a composite.
check below in my sig for an integrity skate.
its the best board i've been on.
here are a few others, try and ride as many as you can, but if you buy any one these below and do not like it, you will be able to sell it immediately on this site or another.
http://www.integrity-wake.com/ (my favorite skate) all hand made USA
http://www.omenskates.com/ first board ready to roll out any week. hand made USA composite and wood( i am looking forward to trying one of these)
www.distortionboarding.com Not sure how they are made, but solid skates is the word
gatorboards.com (they have a few composites around 200)
www.sattelyte.com great wood decks if you wanna stick with wood
http://www.oakwakeskates.com/ another great wood company,
http://www.cassettewakeskates.com/ not sure if they will have 06 line yet, if they do, they have made some great decks in the past.
i am sure i forget a few, but any of those boards will sell quick if you dont like it............ _________________ www.integrity-wake.com |

| Not all wood boards fall apart. Ive been riding my 05 Levelthirn Superstar for over a year now and its held up fine even with lots of hard riding and abuse. I started off with a scape and while I wasnt amazing when i first rode it god alot of use. Im sure you guys have had some problems with wood decks but dont count them out, they can handle alot. |
