Not only do I get fireworks the day before, but perhaps the greatest single article of women's clothing was introduced on my birthday. 
What better birthday gifts could a guy ask for? Stuff blowing up and women in skimpy, revealing dress. Brings a tear to my eye just thinking about it.

lcap, Yes, I read a story about that here aswell and they say it's a french invention too, so for once it actually seems the french has done something pretty good..

| It makes sense, The French have barely been covering their own a$$ for years.. Its only natural that they use that in womens clothing and make money. It wasnt a real hard stretch for them.

Which is why I salute them! I appreciate all the hard work they put in at the gym. The sacrifices made at the table. The pain of getting a wax job. The boredom of sitting in a tanning bed for hours on end.
All to please your eyes and mine. So I say tip one back for all the women who give so much. Let them know their sacrifices haven't gone unnoticed or unappreciated.
