| I saw a guy this past weekend slip on a pair of socks before putting on his bindings. What sort of benefits / downfalls could wearing socks have while wakeboarding? |

Ha ha!  Yeah, I thought it seemed a little ridiculous myself, but I wasn't sure if there was some sort of advantage to wearing them? I've yet to see any pro wakeboarders wear them. |

| well maybe this guy had a bad cut on his foot or something like that but yeah this is the first i've heard of anyone wearing socks while wakeboarding. dont do it. |

Maybe the dude had super hairy feet and putting on socks kept the bindings from ripping out his feet hair.

My friends & I just figured that maybe the bindings were too big for his feet, so he put on thick socks in hopes they'd fit better. I dunno. I agree that wet socks = gross!  Thanx for the advice ya'll!!! |
