LF Exo suction questions

I just bought some Liquid Force Exo Suctions on closeout. I couldn't pass up the $65 price. They are "new", but obviously have been sitting in the store room for a while since they are 2003 models. The question is how to get them fitted & boken in correctly. As shipped there was no way I was ever going to get them on my feet. I wear a size 8 shoe & bought mediums (7-9). I do have a wide foot and a high instep. I changed the straps to the loosest hole & moved them forward one screw. Then put in some wood blocks in them for a few days to try to stretch them out. I put some lube on them & put them on today. It was all I could do to force my feet into them, then it was even harder to get them off. This was without them on a board, just on the bathroom floor. I'm going up boarding this weekend & am worried that if I'm floating in the water with the board on that there's no way I'll be able to get out of them. Other than a lot of lube, any suggestions on how to get in & out of these & how to break them in faster?

Also, I've read a lot about "adjustability" with these bindings, but all I see is the different holes in the cross-over straps. T Question

hese require you to take the bindings off the board to change & are a pain in the ass even then. Am I missing something?

they should be easier to take off with the board attached, simply grab the toeside rail of the board and pull it towards you while resiting it with your legs and you feet should come out no prob.

yess exo suctions are hard to get out of. I was riding one with them saturday, I couldn't get them off in the water, and they are fairly old, they don't get broken in to get them of easier, they just never come off easy, before I got em off I actually had to be lifted onto the swim platform and have two guys helping me. It's not that I don't know how to get a wakeboard off either, I have taken several off. According to the owner of the board they are just like that and eventually you get used to the way they fit and can get them off in the water.
