I just learned to wakeboard this year and invested in the Accurate A-line. What is the proper length if I want to compete? I board at 24-25 mph behind a Supra Rider and can clear the wake easily and consistantly at 60 foot (inc. handle on my old Straight Line) and my first time out on the 70 foot (inc. handle) A-line I cleared the wake, but it wasn't as pretty. Should I continue to challenge myself and move out as the jumps come with ease? What is the general length of rope used in the different skill levels? I don't have a "comfortable" place since I am so new to the sport, so I would really like to learn at the length that will help me excel the furthest...

if you do compete you can ride any length you want, and your own rope, so thats not a problem

Where do I find out what other girls are competing at? I am just confused because some ropes (like the A-line) are 70 foot with handle ropes at their shortest point while other ropes only go up to 70 foot with handle. Is one for beginners, one for experts, one for kneeboarders, wakeskaters, wakeboarders, slalom skiers, barefooters, etc?? Does anyone even compete at 80 foot or at 55 foot or does something close seem to be the standard today? And does length affect points on tricks? If not, then at 24-25 mph, where can I get the most height and distance? I hope that this isn't too annoying... I just have played a lot of sports in my life and there always seems to be a right or wrong or a standard and a sub-standard, but in wakeboarding everyone tells me to be comfortable and I have found that in being great at something requires a little discomfort now and then...

It is your choice. I am not sure if you needed an explanation for this, but if you did, here you go. As you progress, you want to continue to use a longer line. This is because a longer line allows you to have more distance between the wakes, creating larger air time. Also, it allows you to cut out farther, which gives you more speed, bigger air, more air time, etc.... Sorry if you didn't need that explanation, I wasn't sure quite what you were asking.
