OK so there aren't any Lake Hogan riders out there, what about the rest of the Bay Area???? Any Lake Anderson, Baryessa(sp?).... My hubby and I love to get out as much as possible. I would love to meet some new people, I am kind of new to the area and new to wakeboarding as well. Cool

NightAngel,
So how long have you been wakeboarding? I just started the end of last season.. Oct 05. We are going out this weekend and I am going to attempt some actual wake action. Right now I am just mastering getting up... ha ha! Started working with my edges last weekend just to get a feel, it was my first time up this year.... yeash!! Terrible I know Shocked
What kind of stuff did you start out with? I have a feeling I am just going to get aggressive and start man-handling that wake... You're gonna fall anyway might as well start somewhere, right? Mr. Green

HEHE well actually I just started last year too, Aug 05. I had never been skiing of anykind (well if dont count the time last year when I attempted 2 skis. I did the splits and said no more). I just started mainly cutting in and out of the wakes, edging, surface 180s. Still trying to ride switch more but not too stable. I can cut out heel side switched. I can do Heelside slides, and I attempted my first toeside slide not to long ago. Got it once. I am currently working on one wake jumps and getting the technique down. My hubby says I am too aggressive too and that I come into the wake too fast. Rolling Eyes Oh well. I hope to go out this weekend but we will be very busy so I dont know if I will get to. We were talking about going tonight after work as well. We will see. Let me know what you did this weekend if you get to go out and I dont get to talk to you again before then.

The forums slow down during the summer because everyone is out riding. check back every now and again and bump your thread.

Hey Cala, I was able to go out this past Saturday. I tried my first switch hs one wake jump. Almost landed it too but I was too tired to try again. I had been working on my regular stance hs one wake jumps. We were more excited about getting my brother-in-law up and riding. We werent able to stay out long as it started raining and thundering so we headed in. How was your weekend did you make it out?

NightAngel,
Hey congrats on the jump... I got out this weekend too but it was hella busy! Only got up once kinda tweaked my shoulder a bit so I let the others ride. Good day though. My hubby pretty much acomplished all the tricks he wanted to do and he had an awesome weekend. Got some great pics and made some good memories.
Not sure when we will be out next but I hope it's soon.
Take care!

Lake Anderson is nice. We took the boat out there this Febuary and it was super nice. Didn't WB but took the family for a pleasure cruise. Thanks for the reply!
