Hey all,

I am pretty much a newbie to Wakeboarding, I have been a pretty competitive snowboarder for many years. The parents got a boat last summer and i got into wakeboarding. This summer school has put me down in Brookfield CT for an internship, and has left the boat at home!

Does anyboard ride on Candlewood lake? The docks are jam packed w/ nice boats so im guessing thers a few! does anybody know if there are any wakeboarding schools/camps.. i brought my setup, and was hoping to get some time out on the water this season!

Thanks,

Mike

Those jam packed docks equate to a small ocean on the weekends as those boats are mostly owned by NY weekend warriors, unless you are out early during the week, that lake sucks. Try Lillanonoah, almost always good water.

Yeah, if you need to I can probably give you some pulls after the next few weeks (boat is getting repaired). Candlewood lake sucks. Where in Brookfield are you interning? It's my hometown. The only problem with Lillinoah is the debri that can be found on Sundays and the occasional Saturday. Hopefully we can solve this problem soon, but CL&P is full of ignorant jackasses. BTW, I live on the lake so whenever you want to I can give you a pull, I prefer wakeboarding during the week since it is alot smoother. PM me if you are interested.

JR- How are you so familiar with the area? Do you live/did you live in CT?
