So I went from a pair of Nice PRS2s which I loved to a pair of LF Teams....my prs2s got a rip in the lacing so I figured it'd be a good time for an upgrade.

At first impression they are very well built, and very comfy....I think maybe too comfy. It seems when I'm edging there is too much cush and they are much less responsive than my old prs2s. I flipped around switch and felt like my first time riding, wobbling around and losing edge quite easily, frankly looking like quite the pansy not being able to do anything. Are these things just too floppy? I can't really demo anywhere since the shops around here are scarce. What the crap should I do?

Stick it out and get used to the new boots?

or

Get rid of them and look for something more responsive.

They are way to comfortable, you have to really want the Jell-O pudding boots to like these. I edge and I am pressing so hard on my toes/heels that I am just mushing the comfy padding, not actually getting on edge. I think again it's preference, I like a comfortable stiff boot. These are just super super soft. To me, they make better shoes than bindings, but I like that stiff HL boot.

Can anyone recommend a stiffer boot then? I love the hold these things have around the foot, it's just so damn unresponsive. I may just go Nice again and snag me some PRS1s....

Just replaced them with some 06 Transits, very stiff and supportive, but comfy in the LF kinda way. Not stiff like an HL boot, but I like them. I tried 3DS, Murrays, Watsons, Torqs and Transits, went with the Transits and as far as preference I am coming from an old HL Split tight/stiff type boot.

If you don't like them, I would say sell them. Teams are fairly popular boots so you should be able to sell them easily.

I've ridden them twice....maybe I'll stick it out and try to get used to them, I was just very surprised how much a high end boot can negatively affect your riding.
