| I just moved to the knoxville area. Which lakes are the riding spots? There is water in every direction but I'm sure each place has it's pros and cons. |

| lake norris is the best because of all the coves & stuff you can always find glass. melton hill is supposed to be pretty good, but i've never been there. fort loudon is good after work, early mornings & late evenings on the weekend. give me a shout if you want to go out, i'm on loudon alot. |

Norris lake is the best. I can ride glass any time even on the 4th. If you want to get a grand tour come to sequayah marina and come upstairs to Mission Boarding company ask for doug or hill, we have 3 06 malibus to choose from. _________________ http://www.norriswakeboardsandinboards.com/ |

Watts bar is really good it has some really good big coves that are sick to ride in......I am a fort loudon guy myself though..... If you go out there it has to be EARLY morning... like 8-9.. if not then then you should go out right before the sun goes down! _________________ "The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good."

I can vouche for Norris too, nicest (and cleanest) water you'll find in East TN. Tons of good places around here though, you can find glass pretty much anytime, just gotta know where to work. Melton Hill is great, but it's a little remote and has a little bit of debris, but it's glass 95% of the time. Ft. Loudon is a tourist destination, and is basically worthless on weekends (cept for some early morning/late evening sessions), but it's so big that ya never know, it's where I always ride and I have no complaints. I usually ride in the Tellico part of Ft. Loudon too.
Gwakesetter, me and Patty were up there on the team boat last week, saw you all loading up, but we couldn't find you all once we got out there. _________________ '05 Supra Launch 24SSV |

You and patt should come up tonight if it is not raining, we always go out and ride from about 4:30-8 every friday and then we come bach to the wing night at the marina. If you want to come just call me or get patt to I know that he has my number. _________________ http://www.norriswakeboardsandinboards.com/ |

| Gwakesetter, I went up to sequayah marina today to check out the area. The water is crystal clear and looked very inviting. It will be after the fourth before I have my boat up here. I will have to hook up someone to learn the area. Preston at the board shop said there were plenty of riding spots. Watching the depth guage wil take some getting used to. I will miss the tombigbee waterway. |

i'd be a little leary of "going upstairs & asking for doug or hill....." for some reason the quote " bring out the gimp!" comes to mind. |
