newbie girl- wakeboard or kitesurf board?! ahh!

i dont have a boat or a board yet haha! i've been out a few times with some friends and we've been using their kitesurfing boards!

basically is it worth getting a proper wakeboard seeing as i'm a beginner and can get up and go along...is it bad for my wakeboarding if i learn on kitesurf boards...also i don't go out often

i've got an 18th birthday coming up and i have the choice of a wakeboard ! altho kitesurf boards they are easier cos they don't have bindings, just foot straps

if i did get a board, i'm 5ft 7 about 9 1/2 stone...do i go for a like beginners board or get sumthing more advanced and kinda grow into it?

well if you plan on doing it a lot and that kind of thing then i would get a decent wakeboard.

and your getting good experience with a kitesurf board.... your building balance and experience standing up on a floating piece of fiberglass in the water.... weather it be a kiteboard or a wakeboard.. not exactly the same thing but i gurantee if you took a person who plays baseball and some1 who doesn't.. and then have them play softball.. the person with the baseball experience would do a lot better...
