I was a little hesitant about how a tower might look on an older boat like mine, but it looks like we will have a nice looking as well as functional wakeboard boat now.

It is a 22'6" Kona Mini Day Cruiser w/ SBC and a280 Volvo/Penta Outdrive. It is a Heavy boat and actually produces a pretty big wake. No ballast necessary. My kids take care of that Laughing Here is a shot in the water on Memorial day. It SNOWED that day Crying or Very sad

What a great layout! I really like that alot Cool

Makes you wonder sometimes if its worth spending all this coin on a new boat if a 30 year old one can be that nice! Very Happy Cool

Hope you get many more seasons out of her

My feelings exactly!!! I have the logic towards my vehicles. You cant tell me a new Suburban is 15 times better than mine...because that is the difference in price!

Sure the new ones look nice but I can't see paying more for a truck or boat than a house would cost if I wasn't living in a highly inflated real estate region!

I'm content to take a boat that still has potential and turn it into something of value! There is a real sense of accomplishment when you take something that someone neglected and turn it into a beautiful piece of equipment again. All it took was a little(?) $$$$ and
HOURS of hard work. Remember the movie 'Karate Kid' the phrase "wax on wax off Danielsan"? My arms, chest and shoulders ached from rubbing out the badly oxidized gel coat. When I first bought her, the shiniest blue metal flake looked like a pair of Levi's. Now...I yelled at my youngest son for spilling water all over the dash panel, only to find out that I was wrong. The panel was just so shiny that it looked wet! I apologized and smiled!

I plan on doing it again with a Flat Bottom Drag Boat someday soon (I hope).
