i need some help on my HS roll to blind. i have tantrum to blinds down pretty well, so i am comfortable landing blind. when i come down to land this one though, my dad says my board is almost perpendicular to the direction of the boat (although i feel that i am around enough) and when i land, i fall backwards. i just need basic important tips that i should know so i can go out and try them again and hopefully land one. when should i initiate the blind 180 during the trick, whats the best way to pull it in, and stuff like that. ALSO, with me falling backwards when i land, am i under or over-rotating the flip?

idk, ive always been told that mine look diffrent (really cool people say) but when i throw mine instead of looking at my right shoulder i kind of throw like im going to put my chin on my back shoulderblade, and it throws the spin and the flip all in the same motion, it might be cheating but it looks pretty cool

kyle, i'm doing it late and landing blind. i think it looks coller from the boat doing stuff late...like when i was doing ts roll to blinds, that late pass looked sick.

kyle, i am strong enough that i can pull the handle around at the last second. i don't even think about trying to go for the grab...but right as i am upside-down, i go ahead and pull it around and pray i made it Wink

Craig-R, once you even attempt a ts roll 2 blind, you can start talking shi.t to me. Rolling Eyes

and i wore the gloves because i had a rubber-grip handle and since i ride for an hour at a time, it gave me blisters.

i went out and rode a set today and it was awesome. i landed about, 4 or 5 out of 7 attempts at this and they all felt clean.

i also tried my HS mobe to see if i could get it back...which i did on the third try. it was a pretty sick set and felt perfect. i was going to take videos my second set, but time ran out and i couldn't go back out and ride again. tomorrow i am going to get some video and make a video...i am hoping it turns out good.

Congrats on landing the roll to blind... that is such a sweet looking trick. Can you do a KGB?

ohio_wake_2008, all the best sets seem to always happen without the camera. Two days ago, my buddy out of the blue did a hs w2w oa 7 on his first attempt, and we were to lazy to bring the damn camera.

david-d, thanks...i can't do a KGB, but i want to try it sometime in the next couple weeks if i get comfortable with the r2b. i also want to try a moby dick since my tantrum 2 blind is pretty consistant.

kyle, that is true...i'm probably gonna suck today Laughing

unless you do the extremely early pass version of the tantrum2blind, it will not be any benefit for a moby dick. this requires a hard handle pass right off the wake, and having your body sort of turn the corner before you get inverted. either way, good luck.
