Hi Everybody! I am totally new to wakeboarding and I need lots of help- I am 28 years old, 5'8", 135 lbs. I need a wakeboard to fit- oh yeah, did I mention I am a girl? I also think I might be "goofy foot?" Is that the correct words My left leg is dominant- anyway, my husband and I just bought an '05 malibu v ride and I want to learn to do something with it! I used my buddy's board and I got up out of the water, but that's about it- did I mention my buddy is about 220, 6'3" and a guy? I think his board was just a little too big for me! I was looking at the liquid force diva? any hints!
Thanks!
Becky

umm, im not very knowledgable when it comes to board size. try wakeworlds board wizard.im about your height, but about 60 pounds more than you, and a 138-140 is about right for me, so id think mid to low 130's should be good.
"goofy footed" means your right foot is forward when you ride. regular is left foot forward.
have fun with the boat! _________________ http://www.myspace.com/muxpux

Congrats on the new boat....
Best-case scenario you could demo 3-4 different boards and figure out what you like. Many shops will let you demo for a small fee and then put your demo fees towards the cost of whatever you purchase. This would be what I recommend if at all possible.
However, being that you are just learning, every board you try may feel better, because you will be feeling more comfortable.... Difficult to know what you like at this point....
There are a TON of boards out there that fit your size, too many to even name.
You could go with a feminine look with some LF Minx bindings with a CWB Sapphire/LF Diva/HL Blur....board.
Or go with a generic(something that everyone likes) board and some LF Transits(currently front running as my next bindings because they are sooooo comfy).
Different strokes for different folks.... Tough to recommend a board(style) for someone......... |

| If your looking at the Diva...I would recommend the 138. The 134 is in your weight range too but it will be much faster because it is smaller. Unless your really aggressive and want a faster board. My wife went with a smaller board and I think it is too fast for her taste. |

| I would suggest a 134-136 size board. ur not gunna grow anymore so its good enough. and plus if your left foot is forward that means u are right footed. OK. |
