I know some of you have been asking, when and where. So here's a heads up.
Guru Trampboards are now taking pre-orders through performance ski and surf: http://www.perfski.com/showitem.cfm?catnum=0&itemnum=1886
(Just to be clear, I'm not working for or Sponsored by Guru)

There must be something wrong with that page, the decimel point is in the wrong spot. _________________

haha, looks sweet and all, but 300 is a bit steep for a trampoline board. for now my skate deck and packing/duct tape is working just fine. i didnt duct tape shoes in or anything, just made tape bindings by accident, and has held strong for a good 3 weeks or so.
maybe in a year or so the price will come down, or find a good deal on ebay. _________________ http://www.myspace.com/muxpux

Is it me or would it be cheaper to use your old wakeboard and bindings...
you could even just saw the ends off and copy that new tramp board shape.
Just my 2 cents on it _________________ www.AxisBoats.co.uk | www.Malibu-Boats.co.uk |

can you move the bindings? I haven't used one so I can't say that it's not worth it, but I definitely can't afford it. _________________ I've found out that there's a fine line between being brilliant, and plum loco. -DJ Quik

| Does anyone know if there is anything special about the boards? i.e. Do they have better grip on the base? Do they provide better spring? Do they provide a more water like feel than a skateboard? |

Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahaha
ahahahahaahahaha
$299.99
that is a flipping joke, unless I get a full day of on water coaching with that price there is now way in hell you can justify paying that much for something you can make for $15 max!
But if it costs that much, it obviosly works, plus phillip soven uses it too _________________ Neuston Boards

I made my tramp board out of plywood, put that foam water pipe insulation around the perimeter, and duct taped the entire thing may layers with white and black duct tape. It does not damage the trampoline, and I used some old sandle bindings I had laying around.
Several on this site have used my tramp board, and it seems to work well. _________________ Be an organ donor! My father is alive today because of kind souls that donate life... |

Too much for me. My current board and bindings didn't cost
much more than that.
I'm thinking of a sawed-off HL Juvi (or similar shape), with
pipe foam insulation around the edges, and an old set of
bindings. Find a buddy with a band saw to cut the nose shape,
and maybe find a sheet of something kind of rubbery to glue
to the bottom for grip. Kind of wierd, but would probably work. _________________

| Yeah, my old board was a Juvi, so depending on if my little sisters want to become serious about wakeboarding, I might be sawing up my old board. |
