My family is looking into getting one of these this summer. Thing looks perfect for wakeskating. Alot better than the Carolina Skiff i've been riding behind anyway haha. Anybody had any experiences with these? I don't know anything about PWC's but it looks like this would be perfect for a spurr of the moment 2 hour session. _________________ i'd rather go bird hunting with dick cheney...

| I have rode behind one several times. The main problem I had was the speed was inconsistant. For a two hour session it works great (as long as it's on a lift). I've had two on the ski and a rider, it has not fliped once, also if you live near the ocean a friend and i tried towin's. I would not use any other jet ski for towin's. It has not fliped on a sharp turn with the rider plowing through the water either. As for sliders it's a sure bet. Goodluck with it man. |

we used a seadoo XP to tow with, super inconsistant speed, but didnt flip it either. the wake series works a ton better. run a shorter rope though, like 40 feet. 60 was waay too long for us and mad eit hard to turn around, having to drag the rope and not run over it. (didnt ever run over it) _________________ Can't we all get along? |

I have a Sea Doo Wake and think its great for the versatility... I started wakeboarding this year and it was great to learn behind. Once you get the fundamentals down you'll probably hate the small wake. But for just cruisin/surface tricks/learning its fun. As for the versatility aspect.. we've boarded in the Bay and on the lake. Plus you don't need a large area to ride. I've been thinkin about gettin a Wakeskate to ride behind the Sea Doo and save the wakeboard for ridin behind my friend's boat. _________________ If anyone needs me... I'll be on the lake..... |

friend of mine has one, i have to agree with everyone else as far as the speed thing. theyve only got a tube and kneeboard tho, i just moved down to fl from nj so im new to watersports just about all together but im lookin into a wakeboard verry soon.
someone ridin shotgun is almost necessary just to keep the back end somewhat straight. |

we ride behind a regular jet ski.... Sea-doo XPS (or w/e its called) and it works very well. The only thing i could complain about is there is a little area of when the rpm's go from about 5000 above (about) and the engine just kicks in and rockets, so you need to watch that.
We did run over the rope once. it was a BITCH to get off the dirveshaft. thank god it didnt get stuck in the impeller! _________________ My names Oliver. I like wakeboards, clementines, and bikes. |
