So I can get this tower for $250 locally but I dont know if I would end up regretting it later. Heres some pictures of it and all it says is that it needs a few welds rewelded. No I can't weld but may know someone who could. What do you guys think?

Sounds pretty cheap and a good deal. If it fits your boat, go for it because you probably won't find anything decent for cheaper. _________________

I would be very curious how the welds broke in the first place. Abuse or just poor craftsmanship? _________________ Move along people....nothing to see here.... |

| It's probably OK. I would just have someone who knows metals and welding to thoroughly inspect it and tell you if it will pull a fat guy out of the hole with ease. |
