| I have no problem with the rotation. My problem is holding on to the handle when I land. I land on the board every time. Whenever I do concentrate on holding onto the handle, I usually throw the trick way too early or don't let go with my rear hand in time. Anybody got any advice for me? |

when you jump just squeeze both fists really tight so you don't drop the handle but don't forget to drop that back hand _________________ only love i have... is for the lake

i'm gonna explain it step by step
1. make your edge to the wake, edge all the way until the peak of the wake.
2. at the peak of the wake turn the board parallel with the wake and drop your back hand.
3. throw your head back and open your chest to the sky
4.in the air pull your knees into your chest to throw your body into the spin.
5. look straight up (this should help prevent spin) and keep your shoulders straight don't turn them
6. spot your landing and watch the water come back and plant your feet _________________ only love i have... is for the lake

parks_rider i dont quite get most of that for the tantrum..
thrown your head back?.... no you dont want to be doing that at all, look straght up. Before leaving the wake look at it for as long as possible. the word back comes into it after you have laft the water. as for dropping your rear hand i guess 5 feet from the wake, maybe later if your doing whirlys.
are you having trouble because it is ripping from your hands? or just letting go as a physcological barrier?
if its getting ripped out of your hands try coming off the front foot more. also you can throw the trick into the boat more but thats a bit more technical actually the way i can explain is dont turn your back too much awayfrom the boat on the trick.
you know what?a video clip would solve everything but hey i really hope you stick it soon. |

oh sorry ignore my post your having problems changing things? ah ok well, if its all happening too fast then you neeed to start wide so your not so rushed. try that first!
anyway you can always break it down in points which i really do lots of in teaching. one cut out wide two progressive edge in ect ect ect. if you have missed point one then there is no point in trying to rush when you know you have missed point one! start over. its a goos way to dicipline yourself |
