How much different is the vride from the wakesetter. I like both boats and the cost isnt that much different. If I go with the vride would I regret not purchasing the wakesetter? I dont know if these questions are making sense but is there really a performance difference.

Bottom line is it worth the money to go with the wakesetter?

The VLX is a little bit bigger and comes with more standard features. The wake is supposed to be a little nicer on the VLX. The only reason I got a V-Ride is because I couldn't fit a VLX in my boat slip without paying to widen the dock. I don't have any regrets, the wake is still sweet. But if you have the $ and the space, I say get the VLX.

Thanks for the information. I really like the look of both. Is the wake on your vride plenty big? Im currently in a I/O and Im sure the wake on both of those boats will be huge to me.

impulse, the v-ride uses the old vlx hull but still a great wake, if you dont care spending the extra i deffinetly recomend the vlx over the v-ride

vride, performs way better in terms of right turns. wakes are prett close because you can get the rear ballast in the vride. Hulls are different, and the vride uses bags insted of containers for ballast. the vlx has a little more fit and finish. Both wakes will be plenty. its really your choice in what you want

No, the V-Ride comes with hard ballast tanks as well. It does not use bags.

Yes, the wake can be made huge. Just add a few people or add some extra ballast on top of stock and it is as good as it gets. Any argument someone wants to have with you over the wake is like arguing about whether a Ferrari is better than a Lamborghini.

They are saying that the 21 foot wakesetter will be 52 and I didnt really get a price on the vride yet. the 23 foot wakesetter is like 57 plus taxes and freight.
