Let me first say, the search function is useless.
What is the folded/collapsed height of an illusion tower on a v-ride? I'm looking for the highest point in a folded position.
Thanks |

| 05 Vride on an Extreme Low profile trailer. With Illusion tower lowered and the tower tow point REMOVED fits in my garage which is 81 inches. Clereance is very slim maybe an inch. Will not fit with the tow point on the tower. |

| I also forgot to add that if you have the board racks on the top poition of the illusion tower they will be the highest point and will not fit in a garage that is 81 inches. Found out the hard way by smashing the header of my garage with my skylon tribal racks. |

l1spoogy, If you just need another 3-5 inches you can let the air out of all the tires and then inflate them back up once you're ready to hit the lake again. Not sure if you already do that as part of your "garaging" ritual, but if you don't it might take less time than removing the tow point... _________________ wakeboards

Dragon,
Removing the Tow point takes less than a minute. Much easier than letting the air out of 4 tires and then having to re-inflate them next time out.
When I ran the rack into the header I almost had to let the air out, but managed to pry it loose. |

When I fold down my tower, it's lower than the windshield if I remember correctly. 05 V-Ride w/illusion _________________ http://kmags.mybrute.com/

KMA,
The rear bar on the Illusion tower is definitely higher than the winshield when folded. The tow point is on the rear bar and therefore the highest point of the boat when folded. The front bar is lower as it hits the dash. Believe me I wish it did go lower than the windshield. It would make my life much easier.
