ok i want to build a slider but i have no clue how to anchor it and such, i go out in the bay so i would have to worry about a half a foot tied change, the water is usally 5-6 ft deep and ive never felt hard mud on the bottum. i would want to build a floater seeing how theres already 2 a-frames built but i can never hit them because the slider is 1-2 ft higher than the water. so i guess my questions are,
1. how big of a barrel would i use
2. what kind of anchor system would be best
3. how much slack would i leave in the anchor ropes.
4. what would a good frame design be?
i would just be building a flat one to start out on probally 20-30 ft long. one more question is hitting a slider like hiting a rail on a snowboard? _________________ sh1t happens when you party naked
1. 55 gallon
2. 5 gallon buckets filled with concrete
3. enoughf for tides if needed
4. the skys the limit (if you have the cash build a nice box or a frame)
