It was a good deal on a '98 Moomba Kanga (garage kept) with only 160 hours. It came with a slip-on wakeboard pylon, and that really helps. With a full gas tank and 2 adults in the rear seat, it was throwing up a nice sized wake with good shape and firmness. This thing has potential for monster wakes with a good fat sac! Here is a pic in the driveway. I'll post some wake pics soon. I still haven't bought a board or rope yet. I'm using my friends right now.

Thanks guys. I really enjoyed the boat this past weekend. I just placed an order for a 2005 CWB Flame 141 with the 2005 Torq bindings. I wanted to go for the 2006 models, but I'm trying to save some money.

Said I would post a pic of the wake, so here it is. All we had was a disposable camera, so its very grainy. I'll get a better picture soon. I've only been wakeboarding for a month, so don't laugh too hard at the lack of air.

Stats:

Boat - 1998 Moomba Kanga, 2 passengers with no ballast (yet)
Gear - 2005 CWB Flame & Torq bindings
Rope - Buywake handle/rope combo, 65 feet out attached to a 6 foot high Skylon pylon
Speed - 19-20mph (not sure cause I need to calibrate)

looks like a pretty decent wake. I got myself some fat sacs this year, and it they do increase the wake size, but more importantly (for my boat anyway) they clean it up and make it a better shape. I can't ride without them now... have fun

The wake is actually a lot cleaner than the picture looks. The winds were 10-15mph that day and the water was real choppy. I still want to get some fat sacs, though.

RC4,

You mind sharing how much you paid for that beauty?

I will tell you that he was asking 12K, and I got it for less than that.

RC4... Congrats on the boat. It looks good!! Enjoy this summer with that ride, you got it for a really good price!!!

Just put 10 girls in the boat and you don't need any fat sacs. Plus your riding will improve as fast as it can Cool .

RC4,

Very nice job. I only ask because I'm wanting to upgrade my 16' 85hp outboard and wanna get a general idea of what kinda money it'll take to get something better.
