| Hey i have had one for 2 years and it works great...the line down the middle of the boat was a little bothersome at first but it works great and cost much less than a tower

I looked at getting one a while ago, then decided that I didn't want to give up the front of my boat since that is where I put my board on (outboard motor in the back). I ended up going with the Joystick Roll Cage. I ended up paying a little more than this, but it was certainly worth the extra money. Of course mine came with a board rack, so in the long run it wasn't that much more than this. Check out some of the other towers out there like the Monster Tower. I like the Monster, and the price is pretty good.

I went with the roll cage also. Just didn't want the lines in the bow.
Both will work quite well.

Not sure what this goes for but I've seen them on eBay. Boss now has a $699 Mini Tower at www.WakeSide.com and we got a $899 tower at MonsterTower.com. Many other "Under $1K" tower options as well.
If you can swing the extra money for a Mini or Monster, you will not have to dodge cables.

Very interresting that Wakeside used a pic. of the Orange Malibu that Boarders-Paradise employees ride behind on thier site for the Billet tower...Considering that we are thier competition and all...
I knew we should've left the B-P stickers on the boat...damnit!!

| go with the Monster tower. For maybe $100 more, you get a tower with no straps. Personally I'm not a fan of the Monkey bar. I've never owned one or ridden behind one, but I simply think they look dumb. Just my opinion though.

I bought one over winter. I've only ridden behind it once so far this season (because it keeps raining here), but I love it. I works great and I got a sweet deal on ebay. My boat isn't the nicest on the lake anyway, so I figured why spend 2k on a fancy tower. I actually think it looks nice on my boat. I added a board rack and some lights to it too.
As for it's performance on the lake, I don't have any complaints. It's very sturdy, doesn't rattle at all, the strap isn't really in the way to much and it's already made a very noticable difference in my riding - really increases hang time.
If you don't want to spend a lot of money I totally recommend it. Click on the link below for the best deal on these things. The site is for a store called "Wake & Skate". This is the guy who's selling them on ebay. Give him a call and he'll make you a good deal. He's really nice.

I have a Joystick Rollbar, I love it. It is the same exact build as that Monkeybar. The kids down the lake from me also have a Monkeybar. I love it, works the same as a tower, we can still stick 2 people up front with that wire. GReat way to emulate a tower, for half the price. We paid like $450 for our Joystick, it was about $50-$100 off because it was "blemished" (i still don't know where the blem is). Great thing to have. I like the Joystick better, it is powdercoated white, i'm not sure about that steel (or whate ver it is).

the only way the rope would get in the way is if u have a seat up in the very front of the bow.
