i was thinking about putting Hella 500 driving lights on my X30 tower. they are about like the boss high intensity lights . i was going to do hella fog lights but im afraid that they would just light up my back seat. give me your thoughts and tell me what you think about my idea
thanks

not a bad idea, I was thinking about doing something similar. I'm going to put KC Highlighters on the top of mine. I've got them on the front of my truck and I love them. I've got stainless lamps so I won't have to worry about them. They come with wireing kits and they're affordable (about $167) 2 light kit 350,000 candle lights or power. I just need to figure out a good way to mount them.
I'm going to make sure they don't point up to high cause it'll blind the rider.
Not sure why I haven't seen anyone else on this board do it yet.
That's what I'm doing. I go pick up my new Mobius LSV this Saturday and I'll install the lights soon after.

in mays issue of Wakeboarding mag theres an article titles Ride Utah and they have KC on their nauti, you can buy some Boss clamps from wakeside.com for 55.00 each. yeah i have 4 KC's on my truck and i love them too. i was going to go with Hella b/c they might be more waterproof and i think the KC's might be too bright and intense

well, you can get different types of KC's. They make fogs, high intensities, Highlighters, driving, and HIDs.
Not sure if the Hellas would be more water proof. Mine sit on the front bumper or my truck so I know they'll be fine on top of a tower. Hellas are nice though, I just prefer KC.
I think thats what I'm going to do, is just get the Boss clamps. I was thinking about just fabricating them, but for the money and time I think just buying them is the way to go. I don't think you can go wrong either way, KC or Hellas.

not sure yet. I was thinking about putting the stainless Daylighters on, but as I'm thinking about it, it might be too bright. I think I'm going to try it tho. I can always take them off and put some more daylighters on my truck if they don't work out.
I pick up my boat in 2 days. I can't wait. So excited.
