This past weekend the LF team was in Kansas for the Slideshow, a couple buddies and I checked it out and had a good time. Watson, Bonifay, Necrason, Ennen, Henshaw, Marquardt, and Loe were all there. It took them a bit to get warmed up and then the pool busted. They fixed in about 20 minutes or so and then they all started rollin' again. Bonifay, of course, was awesome but I was really impressed with Kevin Henshaw. I thought he kind of stole the show. Ive never heard much about his rail riding before but he is legit.
I also think the Slideshow is a really good thing for wakeboarding. There were a lot of people there who looked like they didnt know much about wakeboarding and the crowd continued to grow the whole time I was there. All the riders were really cool about interacting with the crowd and LF gave away a bunch of free stuff. There was also an amatuer competition but I had to leave before it was over so I dont know who won. The would be invited to compete again in Houston, TX i believe.
Props to LF for putting this on...and especially for coming to the midwest. If there is a stop coming up in your area definately go check it out.
Here are some pics.

Tight pics man. Did they do the partner tournament set up or was it just for a good time. Last Friday night in Austin they did a rail jam to kind of kick off Cable Stock and it was sick. My friend Dustin Shows killed the rails throwing a 450 off and then stuck a tantrum off the rail! But he wasn't able to advance to the finals because they did the partner thing and his partner was Danny Harf who decided to do a butt slide instead of something sick and they scored 8.8 (highest score of the contest) and then 2.3 or something like that and got beat out by teams that scored 5.6 and 6.5. _________________ www.soswakeboard.com

K-wood Kid, no the amatuers were not paired with a pro. Actually the pro riders there were the ones who judged the competition. Man I can do buttslides...thats my best trick on a slider.
criswb, thats the only pic I got of Melissa and I didnt get any pics of Lauren. She and Necrason didnt even ride.
kyle, I didnt think to get a pic of the whole thing from the side til there were too many people standing in the way. But here are a few pics that show some more of the rails.
