I just wanted to know what you Americans think about the dodgy Aussies (Watkins, Sanders, Ike and Falzon)

kenny absolutely ripped, He was one of thos ppl that did good in contest riding, but still had amazing style, he is missed

kenney was a bloody superstar super big, super clean, you could never tell if he was riding switch or not. He was so clean both ways

Dodgy Aussies... Thats the perfect name for those guys. Falzon is the only one I'm at all interested in watching. You can tell he really enjoys what he's doing.

i think sanders is awesome!!!!!!!!!!! He is one of my favorite riders. he can go huge with a 313 and then do a wake to wake 9 or a slim chance 5!!!!!!!!!! he is insane!!!!!! if u haven't seen Natural Born Thrillaz u should try and watch it. everyone talks about Randalls section, but sanders has two and they both contain some of the sickest riding!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, the guys is a great rider, I'm not going to take that away from him, but he has an attitude as well. I know at least 3 people who know/have met him, and they all say the same thing. (On 2 occasions he tried to snake their girlfriends, he basically said 'I am Josh Sanders, and you WILL sleep with me').

This could of course all be gossip and BS, but it seems to be pretty consistant.

I mean, check out www.wakeboardingmag.com, most of the pros have a video or two on there of a few tricks, Sanders' video is of him oogleing some chicks. He has an attitude, and he loves it. Good for him, I just choose to not like the guy. Sorry. When someone makes a stupid generalisation like Sam LF I just felt the need for some correction.

I'm with CM on this one for sure. There are some other stories about him, but I won't go into them.

I don't like his style either. The only reason NBT is an awesome movie is Randy and Billy. SANDERS RUINS THE FILM! You guys know where Ike (Don't get me started on Ike) goes down the slider and and Josh says something like "OHHHHHHH, Ikeareeni going down the sliderooooooni" or some such s#!t, THAT brings the movie down sooooo much.
I feel like throwing something at the TV at that point...

hey J Robinson, what with Ike?? you say don't get me started, but from what I've seen of him, especially in For Love or Money, he seems cool, he takes a drive around his home town Wagga, pointing out his school and stuff, now to me thats a guy who is proud of where he's from and what he has achieved

Merkin: If you're referring to me, you're absolutely right. I haven't met any of them. If you could be bothered actually reading what I wrote you might find that I even stated it could quite possibly be BS in the middle of my post. BUT I can relay information I have from 3 + reliable sources, none of whom have any vested interest making the guy sound bad, but who have all met him and had bad experiences. Have you ever ragged on a celebrity? Laughed at a Michael Jackson joke? If the answer is yes then shut the 'shizzle' up and stop being such a hypocrite.

The original reason I even made the post was because Sam LF was saying that 'half you yanks' are up yourselves, and I disagree with that. Should I take this back?

Aussie: Josh has met the pro's, and has formed an opinion that way. I think it's noble of him not to go into detail on this site.

I haven't met every one of those guys, I know people who definetly have, and definetly know whats going on. It doesn't matter, I'm not going to bag anyone else. Its a bit of a waste of time. I know who I like and who I don't, saying s#!t on the net doesn't really achieve anything.

I'm sure they don't want stories about what they've done up here either... Very Happy

Remember - They ARE just wakeboarders... They ride a wakeboard well... (some would say Razz

)

That whole thing about Sanders ruining the film was pretty lighthearted, btw, but he does make a dick of himself.

I met Daniel Watkins at OWC, he was really cool, he helped me learn how to wakeskate. I didn't even realise it was him (wasn't used to him having a beard). And I met Josh Sanders sister(Amy), she is also really cool. But remember the aussies have a different sence of humour(so does every culture), and sometimes people can misunderstand it.

Again, you have to realise aussies have a very different sense of humour. I remember a pile of my US friends getting upset because they thought we were serious when we were giving them stuff.

I Agree with you crim I love watching the young blokes coming up at the moment like O'shea, Broome and Preistly. I also love watching the style masters like Wulf and marshall.
