Okay So I am looking to buy a new board in the next week or two. I am currently riding a Hyperlite motive 140 and I feel I have gone as far as I can with that board. I mean I am by no means a pro or anything close for that matter, however I still feel it is time to step up to a better board. I am demo-ing the parks board this weekend and that is one of the ones that I am set on but if anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. _________________ It is better to be thought a fool, then to speak and remove all doubt. |

| Donkey_Wakeboarder17, the parks is a board designed for parks...not the average rider. Most people will not be able to perform at their peak on a parks as opposed to a model that would suit them better. What features are you looking for and what riding style are you comfortable with? |

If you have been on a Motive, I would suggest a Murray, or perhaps a Liquid Force Substance, both in a 142. Both of these boards will be much more manageable than a Parks, but give you a noticeable improvement in vertical pop and speed into the wake.
If you want more speed than vertical pop, then try a Hyperlite 3DS 139. It is a toned-down version of the Parks. |

| Check out the 3ds if you get a chance. It reacts like the parks but without the Huge rocker. |

Whatever you do don't limit your options, demo as much as you can. I would agree with what everyone else has said, the parks is VERY aggressive. When I first started boarding a dumb Proshop manager told me to buy a Parks (as a beginner) so I listened to him thinking he knew waht he was talking about and I struggled on that board for a year without even knowing it! I would definately reccomend the Substance, I might be getting one myself once I finish demoing all the new stuff. _________________ |

Im looking for a much faster board, and a board that holds an edge much better, and well as more pop. I would like a 3 stage rocker. Im def. going to demo as many as possible. I just bought new bindings today....CWB Hinge Tech Baby!!!!! _________________ It is better to be thought a fool, then to speak and remove all doubt. |
