the lake i go to all the time, has time limits, so you can only wakeboard or go about 8 mph from 11-3:30. and me and my friends are gettin kind of bored of just swimming off the dock, what else is there to do? weve been trying to skimboard off the dock, and just random stuff, but whats some good stuff to do at the lake, when you cant wakeboard.

do you mean on the lake or on the shore?

if your on the boat and 21, grab some ladies, some beer and enjoy yourself. if your under 21, grab some sodas. if your on the shore do the same, or get some canoes or rafts and try flipping each other.

btw, where in tacoma do you ride? my good buddy just got stationed up at Ft. Lewis, and a couple of us have thought about moving up there. the casino where a few friends work at down here has a branch up there in lakewood.

im only 18, so no alchohol, but that raft thing sounds fun. i ride alot at tapps, and mostly at ohop, down in eatenville basically, and i mean on the dock/shore. im just looking for the fun stuff to do, so were not leaving at 330 everyday because we cant ride anymore. there is a couple good spots down here in tacoma, lakewood area, the weekends everything is crowded like anywhere else, but durring the week, youd be lucky to find 3 boats out on most lakes, besides tapps.

yeah, canoes tip easier, unless your on tubes, and you use the oars to tip the other person.

when i was a kid, the summer camp i went to did this, and there were about 5 people in each canoe, all with paddles, and 4 or 5 canoes out at a time, it got wild.

down here we usually sit on the beach (we can drive on it) and tailgate. you get alot of the high school crowd, but a day on the beach with a bunch of high schoolers is better than sitting at home. just turn on some tunes, and relax, invite more people.

not that im advocating underage drinking, but i started drinking when i was 16. spent many summer days at the beach, and at the lake in town (non motorized boats only, lol) drinking. just make sure it is in a different container. mixed drinks in 20oz. bottles, and beer in travel mugs works pretty well.

i guess it all depends on the police presence and number of people at the beach that actually give a s**t.

just be responsible. dont go gettin so shitty you make a scene. and for the love of god, dont be driving.

you stand on a big round peice of wook and do surface spins and stuff alot of fun. I've hear of people putting latters on them and riding that to. It dosnt take much to make pretty much a flat peice of 3/4-1" plywood cut round about 3 1/2 feet wide maybee wider if your only going 8. Give it a custom paint job.
