i went out and triedthem for the first time today
i slightly under rotated the 10 in the first two
then i started to do these weird off axis spins, where i would land somewhat upside down on my upperback/shoulders.
Also toeside inverts just seem so akward with the body positioning during the toeside cut

my questions are
1. what kind of cut do you take
2. what do you do with your head
3. which way of throwing it is easiest to learn?

thx

Hey. Take a medium cut at it, and make sure you aren't going slow when you get to the wake. Use a somewhat progressive edge until you actually get to the wake. If you're left foot forward, you should turn your head to the left and point your right ear to the direction you are moving. However, make sure you throw your body down, because alot of people twist their whole body right off the wake, which may be what you're doing. Try to get some trampoline access and work on it there first.

yah, ive been doing them on the tramp for years, but they just feel so akward with the toeside cut, soem of them i tried felt normal, but some of them were completely messed up.

do you think about doing a flip then a 180, or doing those at the same time?

I would do the flip and spin at the same time, but i would put more priority on doing the flip part. like wakedude said, some people get caught up in twisting their body right off the wake, which will whip you around out the back, decrease your pop, and also make the rope VERY tight when landing and you could over rotate, or butt check so much that you end up falling on your butt/back.

When dealing with the cut, you want to have enough speed built up to carry you thru the trick, and at the same time you want all of your line tension built up thru your rear arm. this will keep you in control and rotating smooth thru the whole trick. Emphasize the downward motion after you pop off the wake, and as long as the tension is built up with your rear hand, you will rotate the 180 naturally smooth.
