Hello.

I have a board question. I'm about to purchase my first board, and I don't personally know anyone who wakeboards that I could ask so here I am on the internet. Using the board wizard on Wakeworld I've been given the options of an Obrien Edge 138/143 and an Oasis 142 (I'm only interested in Obrien right now as I have a hook up)
Now, I am a rookie but I've still boarded enough to know I'm not completely useless on a wakeboard. But from skimming the forums here I've gotten the impression that a 3 stage rocker is for the more advanced riders yet the board wizard picked out an Oasis for me and it is a 3 stage. The Edge being a continous. Do I have the wrong idea about 3-stage vs a continuous? I'm hoping someone can shed some light on these board options for me, I'm planning on ordering in the next few days.
Also, just to put it out there, I don't have any shops near that will let me demo boards, I've asked around.
As far as bindings go if anyone has anything to say good/bad about the OBrien Xenon bindings.....please do as these are the bindings I'm leaning towards.

i would go with the bigger board because it will be more stable to learn on. 3stage vs. cont. i think is just personal prefernce.

Get that 142 board. I dont know about those bindings but the liquid force alpha (2005) are very comfortable and now the price has gone down
