neck protection

I've landed a back roll 5 times out of about 500 tries. I want to work on it some more but the crashes are killing my neck. Is there some kind of waterproof neck brace out there I could wear until I learn it? I don't care how lame it looks.

No clue if its possible or helpful much less safe but the only thing I can come up with is an old "horse collar" from racing. Was to be worn under your helmet on your shoulders, this was of course pre Hans device! Don't know but it's the only thing I can think of?

shrednswoop, get on a trampoline and just do backflip after backflip. that should improve your air awareness and will do you better than a neck brace.
