This summer will be my second season of wakeboarding, I'm really excited. At the end of last season I was trying 360's and had trouble sticking the landing...

After researching a bit I feel maybe I was off axis a little.

I need help on correcting off axis problems, and anything else with 360's.

EDIT: These are HS FS 360's Im talking about here.

I've searched for 360's articles on the forum, and i havent found much as of yet. If you want to post a link or advice that would be awsome.

From what I found out, get the handle pass down low (below your waste) and initiate the spin at the peak of your jump. Throwing it too early will throw you off axis.

This is how i figured it out i used to end up upsaide now i land 10/10 i cut into the wake a little shorter then normal and hold my edge all the way up but i dont kill it like i do for a backroll or anything, after i pop i pull the rope to my back hip while letting go with my lead hand, then i just reach around the back and the rotation does itself ide say get that down first so you are riding away without the rope then go for the handle.

Alright, I suppose if i have plenty of time to do the spin, waiting longer will help.
Going out as soon as the boat is de-winterized.
Thanks

make sure u keep the rope in tight off the wake...i used to get extreemly close but i'd start with straight arms n when i'd pull for the handle pass it'd take me off axis for a wipeout...

waht I found that helped me the most was going for the slob grab when I first learned them. that does 2 things that are must to learning hsfs 3s. first it makes you wait til your at the peak of yuor jump, just like everyone has been telling you to do is wait longer to throw it. secondly it forces you to set a better axis by keeping you more towards the front of the board than the back with you spinnin on an axis like this / which is what most peole do when they learn them. I also try and use the grab to help me rotate, not really but thats what it feels like, what you wanna do is get the grab solid and try and pull the board to the handle. suck that front knee up to your chest and ty to make to tip of the board touch the handle behind your back. like evryone said to is DONT TAKE A BACKROLL CUT. your throwin a 3 not a raley or roll its a nice melow slow stlyie move so think of it and throw it that no power is needed goin into it thinkin slob 180 and just rotate. Good luck bro its a fun trick to start adding alot of different grabs and style too.

I CAN LAND EM NOW!!.. waiting until the peak is what did it...

But now I tried to throw in a grab... When i try to grab, I can get the board but can only spin 270... I just cant seem to get around.

Any more tips?
