I'm goin to be starting at UCF this summer (Summer B session) and I was just wondering if there are any riders here that go to UCF or any that are in the wakebaord club???

was gonna goto ucf which i still think i should have (got accepted) but parents said if i goto usf and save them some money, they will probably buy me a lake house and a wakeboard boat so... i have those priorities straight i suppose Rolling Eyes

Im thinking bout going to UCF also...so I can wakeboard on my free time but can you wakeboard all year or does is get pretty cold like dec. and jan.?

alafiaboarder, how would going to usf as opposed to ucf save your family that much money? they are both public schools...

Mitchell, there's about 2-3 weeks tops where you wouldnt want to be riding other than that it's warm enough to ride with a wetsuit or even just an upper body

im at ucf too...if anyone wants to go to owc or anything any time i have a car, and im always willing to ride

does the school have a boat that the team uses and eveybody just pitches in gas money for it or do u just hope to ride behind somebody's boat and also go to owc.

ill be in orlando kissimmee all winter...im from canada going to school over there for 6-7months...looking forward to meet a few skilled riders to improove my riding a bit. ill definetly get that OWC 6 months pass

we're working on a boat and hopefully will have one this semster, but as for now, theres a few guys with boat and we all just chip in for gas and stuff...

Hey Im trying to get into ucf [senior this year] ... hows the girls wakeboarding club? How do you get into that do u have to meet like certain standards or jus sign up? its something I'm definately interested in... cant wait to be up there and have the OWC to go to at any time Laughing

alright sounds cool im a senior this year and i plan on going there or to florida state and they both have teams so that would be sweet if the schools have boats and stuff

you just sign up and your in, its really just a way to meet people and get to ride, its still competive but mostly ment just to get people out there

yea, also megan mcneil and steve edwards both go to the school and ride for UCF in the collegit (sP) event.
