I know we all love to ride but what are the little things that make your session better.
I love getting to the lake early and seeing the fog rise from the water.
I love the crisp smell of the morning contrasting with the warm body of water.
I love the smell of the engine starting up.
I love standing at the dock holding the tower shaking fom the cold while watching my crew come down the grassy hill towards the dock.
I love a fresh Red Bull and slipping that fav disc in as we putt to the center and fill the ballast.
I love it when someone asks who first, DAMN RIGHT I WILL GO

Come on what are the little things you like

I love listening to the boat exhaust gurgle under the platform while I'm waiting for my session to start.

I love the sound of riding on absolute glass. The only time you can get the sound is when there isn't a ripple in the water.
I love waking up in the morning and taking a look at the lake and not seeing anyone out and the lake is perfectly calm. Then calling my crew and say "The lake is perfect, lets f*cking ride"
I love taking the first set after weighting the hell out of the boat and seeing how perfect you got the wake. Seeing if there is any different than when you were out the time before, maybe because of a difference in the amount of people.
I love when you get the perfect pop on a trick and you know no matter what , you are going to land it perfectly and then you spot the water and just float down like you never even took off.
I love when I do a glide that i grab the board so hard that I am controlling the board and can make it contort to any style I am in the mood for.
I love the first two wake jumps, always heelside first than toeside to see if you are going to be in the zone for a good set.
I love landing a new trick that took a lot of tries and a lot of hard falls to learn and the sense of accomplishment when you land it.
I love seeing one of my boys stick a new trick for the first time.
I love that when I'm on the water riding, the only thing I think about is me and the water and don't even realize there are people in the boat watching.

I love cuttin out in complete glass and touching it as it ripples off your fingers.
I love the dusk rides as you cut out and look back at the boat with a beautiful sunset behind.
I love going out every trip, and when you get in the water its that much easier because its been heating up.
I love slippin into the bindings, off the back platform looking around at the lake anticipating/being excited to go rip and just have fun.
I love summer trips up to a lakehouse or houseboat.
I love hanging out with friends, BSing on the boat about whatever.
I love when i hold a roast beef incredibly long (just feels great)
I love how when you finish up and are leaving the lake your already thinking about what you want to try/complete next time out.
I love when the fisherman flip you off in a distance, when you ride in the morning and your roller (even though there 100+ yards away) bump them about. Laughing

always cracks me up when you can see a slight finger Rolling Eyes

Theres many more, just a few to come up with. BTW great thread Wink

I love the beeping then the engine starts.
I love the soft pull getting up and the water falling off of you.
I love the line when it slacks off when you do a sharp carve.
I love sitting in the sun and watching others try new stuff.
I love going doubles and chatting while riding.
I love feeling the wind in my hair while sitting in the boat while your riding super fast back to shore.
I love riding in the boat while its getting pulled back to the cabin.
I love the feeling of taking your feet out of your boots because all the feeling goes back into them.
I love jumping into the water at night.
I love watching at night the boats with lights driving.
I love hearing the incredible roar of some boats across the lake.
I love riding.

I love cutting out on glass leaning out and seeing my own reflection.
I love finishing up everyones set and just sitting there BSing and losing track of time.
I love bringing another person from our lake out usually a skier and getting them up for the first time.
I love riding till dusk and cruising around after talking of the riding.
I love taking the laptop out at night and anchoring to watch a DVD.
Even though it's a struggle I love trying to slip those bindings after they have set all winter.
I have one more but I will leave it for now

I love to get out real early in the morning. The only other boats are an odd fishing boat or two. The river is dead calm. Fog lifting. My sons bitching because it is so friggin early, I ignore them. Being the first one in the river. Slicing through the water. Come to think of it there isn't anthing about being out on the water I don't like.

I love cutting into a double up and knowing that its perficly timed, and the feeling of pumping into the trough and the sudden explosion of speed upwards followed by the weightless calm where Im in full control stomping it and rideing away clean with a huge grin on my face and my mom cheering in the boat lol.
I love doing a sily trick just to get a laugh out of my friends in the boat.
I love on sunny days when the water is glass watching all the weeds wizz by under water and the feeling of foating on air

Five more days and counting!!

I love the setting out time... the sound of the boat engine starting and the little nudge to the side from the torque at start up and the stereo coming on and every one piling in the boat, then the inboard reverse noise. Smile

I love the gurgling under the platform getting my board on
I love the instant I hit the water on dock starts after months with no riding
I love the sizzling your board makes while carving through PERFECT glass and powersliding down the whole half mile pass because its so glassy you cant help yourself
I love the instant you hit the 3rd double up roller and you feel your stomach go to your toes as you shoot up, then looking down from 8+ feet in the air thinking HOLY #$&#!!!!
I love the feeling of boning out your tailgrab
I love the feeling of the second you land an Ollie BS 180 and your wrapped and facing backwards

Most of all I love walking outside after a summer t-storm, when the air is cool, the air humid, the water steaming b/c its so warm, and perfect glass thinking

I love it when people check to make sure that their hitch can handle the load they're putting on it.

So you know, that way their trailer wont break free and destroy our 11 month old SAN. Effectively bringing my season to a grinding hault.

-I Love getting up in the morning before breakfast n sitting on the dock watching the calm glass knowing it's gonna be a perfect day of riding
-I Love sittin on the platform strappin up n peekin back at all my friends in the boat waiting for another sweet set
-I love carvin out on glass n just holdin an edge way out in the flats with the tunes of the day soft in the backround
-I love the progression that is wakeboarding

i love gettin a song stuck in my head, then going riding its like meditating, more like complete peace of mind. If i dont have a song stuck in my head ill ride like stuff.

I also love cutting out and making a HUGE spray on glassy water, the bigger the spray the better it feels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The memories...
I love it when Im out in the flats riding to the music and look to the boat and notice everyones head bobbing to the tune
I love it when when people get stoked after a trick and everyone throws there hands in the air and starts hollarin
I love it when you realize no one is talking but everyone is smiling in the sun
I love it when I wreck and the boat comes around and everyone tells me how close I was
I love it at dusk when the water turns to glass and reflects the colors of the sunset
I love it when I close my eyes and throw my head back on a warm buttery set

The fun...
I love it when I see a tuber take off into orbit when they hit one of our rollers
I love it when we die laughing at the jet skiiers in their purple and pink wet suits
I love it when the ladies are in the bow of the boat and we purposely hit rollers *ahem* Cool

I love it when we get too toasted to ride... well bitter sweet Wink

I love it when we watch videos and finish off any left over brewskis after a long day

A couple of you folks love some of the same stuff as I, but I'll put it in my own words the best I can.

-I love standing up in the middle of the boat holding the tower with the wind in the hair as we speed off to our cozy spot to start off the day.
-I love reaching my hand down to feel the spray of the boat, and later the butter of the lake as I'm riding.
-I love the built up excitement as I take my board off the rack and head to the deck to start the first set.
-I love riding by the lakefront houses at sunset, with the reflection of the sun on all the windows and the water.
-I love the sudden liberation from life's problems as soon as you push off the dock.

I love when you pull up to the dock and there is nothing you can do but have a HUGE smile on your face because you just wakeboarded with your best friends, no matter how good or how bad you rode.

There is no sport like wakeboarding...none

I HATE when the cops show up at the landing and you have to gun it to the dock and run to the house
I HATE when you just in the lake and its 50 degrees
I HATE when it rains 6 days in a row.

I love the crisp summer mornings when the water temperature is actually warmer than the air
I love riding just past sundown on hot summer evenings

I love having the boat loaded and ready early in the morning, only to realize the battery is dead.
I love a quick, successful launch at a busy ramp. Becoming the envy of all the on-lookers, only to realize I forgot to put the plugs in.
I love the long ride to a quiet cove, only to have the wife tell me she forgot her sun-block.... I love the ride back to the ramp.
I love watching my wife gingerly walk to the truck for her sun-block. I love when the Gods strike her to the ground via a rock in her jellies....
I love the feel of the bindings the first fit of the year. I love the Winter dry rot that snaps the lace ring on the final snug.
I love the feel of duct taped bindings on the first run.
