Windshield Tint

I am getting my windshield tinited next week. What is a good % to go with? Is 5% to dark on a boat? Thanks

5% would be really dark and hard to see through at night. I assume you are doing it for looks more than function so maybe 5% is really what you want.

What would be a good % to go with? I do ride some at dusk and would like to still be able to see out of it a little.

I've done 25% on the front windows of my cars - still usable at night... I'm sure would work well on a boat too, yet still look nice & dark.

depends really 5% is really dark...i'd look at some 15% first...

If i was to tint the windows i would use reflective "chrome" tint with some 32% behind it.....It would reflect the sun and look awesome. just my $.02

I also ride at dusk all the time and my boats windows are limo tinted I never look straight through the windshied any how.

I got it done this past week. I did 15%. It looks like it will be perfect. Very Happy
