Anyone else do them? Like when your making a turn around or even just a 90 degree turn, you cut to the inside of the turn where theres no tension and pull a trick. I learned ollie BS 180s today using that trick. Also a surface FS 3.

can't say so...so ur talking about cutting to the inside like before u hit the d up...which would be almost the same as slowing the boat to 12-15 or so mph right?! _________________ Smile at the hotties on the boat...Huck ur new trick...Nail it and they'll think ur Wicked..and even if u bail they can soothe u afterwards:D...

brath5, yea but double ups are pretty tight. You could but Im talking more about taking a curve. You do slow down some which makes surface stuff easier and falls less bad but the main thing is you have almost zero line tension.

LFADAM, are you talking about cutting out as far as possible then throwing a trick when you start to turn back into the wake? I think this is the point where there is the least line tension.

yeah. i always turn sideways on the inside of the turn and plow as much water as possible. also, when you cut outand switch edges real fast, there is a point where theres no tension, and its pretty easy to do ollies and other quick surface tricks. _________________ http://www.myspace.com/muxpux

kevthayer, kind of. Its when the boat turns though...like when it makes a 90 degree turn, you cut out hard in the direction that the boat is turning and when you get far enough out the boat is just turning around you so you have almost zero line tension.

I see, the boat is turning into your cut, basically the opposite of being whipped. You are turning into the direction the boat is, that would definately createzero line tension becasue you will be travelling perpendiclar to the boat which means you are only moving because of your momentum, not the pull of the boat. I like totake that time to rest or maybe ollie to switch.
