We're heading stateside next week. I'm debating to pick up a portable DVD player here or wait and see how much they are down there.

Nothing great, just something for the kids to entertain themselves with when we are doing the summer road trips. I saw a couple of 7" ones at Wallymart yesterday for a 100 bucks. I'd really like a 10" portable (thought I'd better throw that in) but they're still at least 300-400 bucks up here.

How much should I expect to pay stateside (Spokane) for a 7" inch or 10"?

I was looking on Ebay, any brands to stay away from? What features should I be getting as well?

How old are the kids? Why not have them read road signs and play license plate games.

That's how I leared how to read.

If that doesn't work, you can play the mummy game where they see who can be the quietest the longest.

They're 16 and 10. We call it the silent game and it doesn't work anymore. They don't mind losing that one. Smile
