Yea it is. I have one right now and haven't ridden anything else. I've basically covered all the basics, shuvs, 180s. I've done some other stuff too like w2w and other variations of tricks. I am getting a new board this year. One reason is that my skate is the 116 and I feel like I can't do much more on it. So if you want to spend a little extra money and get a board you can really progress on, I would suggest doing it. Otherwise, its a good choice. But as always, try and support rider owned companies. Sattelyte makes a fairly cheap flat deck. Cassette is coming back for an 06 line i think. Look around, check out all the options.

If you can dish out the cashflow, I would definately go with the Integrity...but if you want a rather cheap skate (no pun intended), the scape is a good board for beginner-intermediate. I bought one off eBay for $50 two years ago and it's still kicking strong today. But I bought an integrity to replace it.

pilot_ryder,
Kampus makes some good skates at a great price,

I have an Integrity too,

The first time riding I rode a scape and I will still jump on it from time to time, I like it.

Save yourself the pain of deciding, and buy a few,,,,

Check out Gator Boards and Sattelyte.

Nothing against you, but it's hard to say if a board is good if you've never ridden any other. The scape is a 2x4 if you ask me.

I Wuv You, did you notice how you referred pilot_ryder to Integrity? Well.......Nick rides for integrity, he has a kick ass board and is a super cool guy. Did you just recommend integ because thats what you heard is cool today?

To answer you question, no-one asked nick, you dont have to ask Nick, he's just here, lurking in the forums, waiting till he can say his radical opinions Laughing

And last of all, pilot_ryder, if you can afford a better board that suits you riding style then go for it but as Muck said, try and buy a few to see which style/type you prefer.
