hey turk i have seen the same thing over here about 5 years ago, i think it was the first time they'd opened the damn fully since it was built and you people dont understand, pictures quite simply do not do it justice. its awesome, the raw of the water, the sheer amount of water is absolutely mind boggling, its something u must see if you get a chance

my dam is similar. They have done a bad job controling the waters this year and it has been going over for over a month now. Boats and docks break lose and just go over.

| there is a small dam in town and people sit on tubes and boogy boards and go threw it when the grate is open...lol im not gonna try that anytime soon

| Hey turk im from loudon TN and weve been flooding like crazy for the last 3 days. Ive got some awesome picks ok our dam letting out the water....shooting up towers of water 30ft high in the rapids. Ill try and get some up on my profile soon

well i guess thats not going to happen, my mom took the pics and she didnt have the memory card in all the way......almost as degrading as haveing your thumb over the lens
