What year boat? If it is the splined shaft, not much force is needed. If it is a keyed prop, your lookin at some work.
If you try it yourself, a propane torch comes in handy. Try a rubber mallet or a deadblow hammer with a small 2x4 on the backside of the prop near the hub once the hub is good and hot.
If you trailer it by your local boat dealership they should be kind enough to pull it for you at little or no charge.
NOTE: Whether pulling with a puller or using a hammer to force the prop off the shaft, do not completely remove the prop nut, as these props can come off with some force (enough to break fingers/nuckles/whatever gets in the way) |
