Ha! I win! Got it to work. Sickkk spinning. Ive never seen a HS 9 off the wake.
RELAx, not that I know of. Isnt it insane that guys like this guy (Mikey Marsh) and Steve Edwards arent pro with the stuff they throw? Ive narrowed it down to a few possiblities
a.) Dont like competitions and only freeride, therefore not getting the coverage/title of being pro
b.) They can only spin, no good mobes or raley based
c.) They are inconsistent and couldnt throw down a clean run in a comp
d.) They are pro and I just didnt know it. |

Haha thanks man.
I was thinking, d000d if he is that good how is he not pro?
But anyway, I am no where near being able to do any of what he can throw down.
This is my first season.
So his tricks still pretty much own my imagination.

LFADAM,
a.) a pro is when you are paid to wakeboard, it isn't specified by if you ride in competitions
b.) i garauntee a rider with a ts and hs w2w 9 can do mobes
c.) hs 7 to ts 7 back to back appears to me like he's consistent |

THAT'S MY BOY CRAIG ROHRER RIGHT THERE BABY
And what are you thinking, people like this guy and Steve Edwards can easily throw mobes in competition, as I've seen Steve Edwards do with a crow, as well as the moby dicks in his videos. |

| sick video but tick tocking out of spins really bothers me. put a big fin on the nose of that board and that should make the landing cleaner. |

kyle, not only is it a never-seen-before trick, it's also behind an '05 vlx
just messing...in this case the rider truly does make the boat, whatever boat it hapens to be |

| The Headless Chicken, i agree with you. tick tocking really takes some of the luster away from how clean he stomped it |

| I don't know, he stuck that pretty freaking clean tic tock or not. W2W heel 9, definately the first i have ever seen. Do you think that is a VLX, im trying to tell by the glove box, I think it is either that or an X-Star |

kyle, it is, you can tell by the MLS sticker on the window. i'm pretty sure it's the same boat lyman rides in snafu. also, i recognize that lake from "the book", so it's probably one of the wakeboard camp's malibus. not that it matter; he strikes me as a guy that can go huge behind pretty much anything. although, judging by lyman's stoke, i'm assuming that's the first time he's landed a heel 9 w2w
and about the landing, i think that's the point. he stomped it so clean, why the tick tock? it certainly didn't look like he needed it

| I think Lyman helps out at murrays camp which makes me think it is either a nautique or mastercraft, i just can tell by the tower because of the location of the swivel racks. But if that is a VLX, i stand corrected because that wake is baller |

At nationals mike stuck a toe 9 at the end of his qualifying run. Inconsistent? I think not. _________________ Liquid Force

probably g.nunns malibu. steve edwards has been good for a long time. everyone thinks watson was the first to do a 9 in a comp so maybe they thought edwards wasn't marketable b/c he was in jr. mens. that's not even all mikey marsh can do... _________________ "...but even if you don't make it, it will only hurt for a minute." |

For being up in the cold northeast, Massachusetts has put out some really good riders...Lyman, Greenwood, and now Marsh. Somethings working for them up there in the cold. _________________ Bondo saved my wakeboard's life!

when i lived in seattle, the percentage of serious riders to recreational riders was MUCH higher than it is in texas (where i live now). in the northwest it seemed like there was one really good rider for every 10 wakeboarders you see while in texas it's more like 20 or 30 to 1. i think the cold weather and short season weeds out a lot of the casual wakeboarders. you've got to be dedicated and have a real love for the sport to be on the lake in early spring or late fall in massachusetts or seattle. look no further than rusty malinosky or the nebraska guys |

That's a sick vid, saw it the other day. Definately a VLX, like Hill said it's probably GNunn's. _________________ '05 Supra Launch 24SSV |

Seriously, enough with the boat pissing contest.
Insane spinning. Heelside 900 is 4 handle passes so incredibly difficult.
Generally, you have to save yourself with a tic toc when you have slack in the rope genreated by your pull for the handle passes. When the rope comes tight it can pull you off your edge.

Yes, that is behind Gerry's LSV (same one in SNAFU). The wake is INSANE. I will be filming alot w/ Mikey this year. Needless to say, he will have a killer section in my next film! The kid spins like it's his job... well I guess it is STAY TUNED. _________________ Check out http://www.updogthemovie.com |

i dont know if it annoys any one else, but he never did one tic toc the entire vid. the only possible trick it could be done is on the t/s 7, but he passed the handle instead. tic toc is only done when landing wrapped from a b/s or switch b/s spin (landing on t/s 7 is equivelent to sw. b/s 180) and unwinding. it is not a tic toc when done w/ a f/s 180 (or f/s5, 9, etc.) that is simply a pivot or surface 180 or what have you. sorry for being a bit anal. _________________ Mark Kenney, 1983-2002

| Thomas P., whether its a tic toc or not, imo it looks bad when you land after a spin and then revert it back around. It seems like they didnt get the full spin and land on edge or are just being lazy. a hs w2w 9 is sick for sure but imo his wasnt as clean as possible. |

i am not saying anything about whether it qualifies as a "clean" landing or not, i just felt the need to clear up a bit of wakeboard terms because i am just anal like that.
h/s 9 = so difficult is seems to be photoshopped.
