|
|
I've been looking for wakeboard boats in my country (Spain) but I only have found two. They are expensive and old. So I have thought about buying to bayliner 175 with a 135 HP i/o. Will be sufficient the wake of this boat?
The Bayliner I will buy to a friend owner of a nautica store. That is another reason, the financing, because the used boats that I have seen I cannot finance them.
When I'll puts ballast in this bayliner just by 135 HP, It will consume much gasoline?
Which consumes more a normal wakeboard boat (like air nautiques, MS x...) or this bayliner?
Please advise to me. I do not know what to do. Thanks! |

if you put any ballast at all in a boat with that little horse power, it probably won't be able to get up on plane or pull a boarder out of the water. the bayliner will use less gas because it has a much smaller engine than a normal wakeboat.
I guess that it would be better than nothing. I used to skurf behind a bayliner in high school and it was totally rad. _________________ Calabria Boats Rule! |

| get an older boat from the us and have it shipped over there it should cost you about 1,000 to 1,500 max for the shipping... you will be better off in the long run |

Watch out for Cal Airs opinion, his chopper gun boat has affected his objectivity. _________________ Go Boat! |

You may want to check out some dealers in the UK, I know its a bit far from spain, but I have talked with a couple of Mastercraft owners from England, and it seems though a bit expensive several models are available. Sorry I dont have more info on exactly where they are, but if you keep looking you will be happy. _________________ www.midwestmastercraft.com

Makes me happy I live on the states.... But maybe a i/o with more power would work for you. I know the difference after having both kinds of boats but a new reliable boat that you could finance may be something to think about. BUT GET LOTS OF POWER !!!! my old Reinel had a 4 cyl 140 it was ok, but we never put any weight in it, it had to work on pulling me up for that matter... just my 2 cents... hope it helps _________________ Pukka Electric Mininbike "Fast - Fun - Safe"

That actually sounds about right....we just shipped a boat to AUS., and it was a little less than that. |
