its a good board, i have a 2005 also.
i'm not quite 150 but i rode a 42" just fine. you will like the board.

symmetrical means the nose and tail are the same width/shape.. it is a mirror image.
Asymetrical means that the one end is narrower than the other...

| Could that be a typo though in the description you got, b/c I always thought the Cassette flat decks were symmetrical... could be wrong however.
