I've been thinking about doing one of those online live journal things for a while. I like putting my thoughts down, and I think it'd be a fun place to do it. Plus, it'll keep my friends at home updated on what's going on in my life. The problem is that most of the websites require you to have a code from a friend that already has a journal. I don't know anyone that uses these. Do any of you have a live journal (on livejournal.com, deadjournal.com, etc) and can you give me a code? If not, do you have any friends that do? PM me if you find a code. Thanks!

A bunch of my friends have live journals. They really seem to like it. I personally am not too fond of thew whole world being able to read my thoughts. But good luck getting a code!

I was kind of looking for one of these codes too. I would be very happy if someone would give me one. That site Sarah uses looks very good though, and I think I'll make one there.

You sure you need a code? Maybe it's not required but there's a blank there just in case your friend suggested you use their website and they wanted to know who.

I just stayed up all night wasting time away on my new journal at Sarah's website. I'm addicted to posting random crap on it.

i just made one, i'll put it up later if ya'll want me 2, i'm not real good about journals so i'll probably end up like postin for the next 2 days then quit. What i think would be cool is if there was a specific forum on here where everybody could have there own.

This might be a dumb question, but why not just write out your life on paper?

I don't usually keep my feelings from my friends. I like to be open about stuff. I used to always talk to my friends about stuff at home, but now that I'm at school, I don't get to share as many things with them. A lot of them ask what's going on in my life and I can only tell them so much. If I write things down on a day to day basis, they can feel more connected to me and leave advice for certain things that are happening. I still talk to them on the phone and on IM, but I can't do that with every friend every day.

You can make your messages private. Also, I prefer typing to writing anyway and I know my mom would be looking through my notebook if I had one.

That's why you hide it JJ... Oh well, to each his own. I just find it more convenient to have a notebook to write stuff down when you're thinking rather than having to log on to a computer, then some site, then start typing. I guess that has to do with where I get inspiration - on the dock, in my room late at night, places where I don't usually have a computer...

I guess my problem with just writing it in a notebook is that I have extremely bad handwriting, and i have grown a hate for writing over the years due to it. But i am a fast typer, and therefore like to type

It's tough to hide stuff from my parents. They'd find it eventually.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did.

Then again, I'm from the "Suck it Up" generation. I've never understood this need to share emotions and 'feelings' with friends.
